Distance: 15 miles (from Undy) – 28 miles (from Caldicot) – Difficulty: 2/5 – Weather: wet and windy
The latest Starter Ride saw five riders leave the Choir Hall and join up with Chris and Jan Orum at Undy Church, for the flat ride down to the Seawall Tearooms for coffee and cake. The weather didn’t look too inviting, but apart from a squally shower on the marshes road, luckily enough we managed to avoid getting too wet, and arrived back in Caldicot about five minutes before a torrential downpour. Good to see Chris and Jan come back out to join some of the regulars, I believe that they enjoyed the ride.
