Sunday, 13th November 2016

Distance: 30 miles – Difficulty: 2/5 – Weather: Sunny

Seven riders turned-up at the Choir Hall for the annual trip to Magor to watch the Armistice Service in the village square. Nice to see two new riders, former work colleague Brian Stephens and his friend Steve Chappell.

The route followed Church Road out of Caldicot, through Caerwent and onwards to Carrow Hill, St. Brides and Magor. A stop in the Square to watch the service before continuing on along the Queens Way to Goldcliff and the Seawall Tearooms.

As usual, great service and lovely food and drink from Wendy and Wayne, fully refreshed the group made their way back to Caldicot via Undy and Rogiet. An excellent day was had by all.

Riders:

  1. Helen Gilmore
  2. Sue Earnshaw
  3. Tony Griffiths
  4. Nick Powell
  5. David Vass
  6. Brian Stephens
  7. Steve Chappelle
