  2. Few rides over the last couple of days, plus some catch-up from Helena Hunt’s latest expeditions in Spain and France. and ‘Team Faragher’s’ latest ride. Big shout must first go to Helena who has now reached the climbing goal for the challenge of 78,600 feet. Just another 600 miles to go. Kaf and John Faragher have reached Springfield, Missouri, and there were also rides from Tony Griffiths and Janet Vale.

  5. A very quite week, just two rides from Janet Vale and Tony Griffiths who have added to their mileage. I am sure there will be plenty more to come from the weekend.

  6. Some catch-up rides to add-in from Rob Stallard who has now climbed over 60,000 feet and just over 100 miles from the finish; Grahame Morton has now reached Springfield, Missouri; and Team Faragher have been knocking in a few extra miles that sees both Kaf and John pass 500 miles.

  7. The fine weather has brought the 66ers out in droves over the last couple of days. Rob Stallard has reached Baker, California as has his closest rival, team-mate Helen Gilmore; Gareth Davies returned to the saddle and passed Gallup, New Mexico and then the Arizona State Line; Janet Vale has now reached the New Mexico State Line; Carolyn Griffiths has passed the 900 mile mark; also out improving their mileage were, Tony Griffiths, Diane Potter, Sharon Ward, Tracey Eastabrook, Tony Ward and David Vass. Well done all.

  8. Wednesday night is Rose Inn night. More miles put in to the pub, and a few others adding distance to their Route 66 Challenge. No major goals hit, but Rob Stallard has now taken the lead in the race for the next one to reach Santa Monica. Also out over the last couple of days were; Shane Carey, Carolyn Griffiths. Tracey Eastabrook, Sue Earnshaw, Francesca Cooper and Tony Griffiths.

  9. A new month, just three to go before the end of the challenge. Who is going to make it to Santa Monica? – Rob Stallard has improved his chances with an 18 mile ride to Black Rock; Tony Griffiths has now reached Flagstaff, Arizona; whilst there were also rides from Carolyn Griffiths and a catch-up for Gareth Davies.

  10. End of the month has seen some movement on the map. Rob Stallard has now crossed the California State Line and is just over 200 miles from the finish. Big battle between himself and Helen Gilmore to be next one home. Tony Griffiths has now passed the 1,700 mile barrier, and there were also more miles from David Whittle and Diane Potter. Shane Carey in the meanwhile has now reached McLean, Texas.
