  1. Very quiet week, three riders out today – Tony and Carolyn Griffiths taking the MTBs out on a Night Ride to the Rose Inn, whilst Shane Carey passing the 1,000 mile barrier with a ride up to Shirenewton.

  2. Weekend update. More rides from Rob Stallard who has now passed the 2,000 mile barrier; Tony Griffiths who has climbed over 60,000 feet; Helena Hunt who has reached Gallup, New Mexico and has climbed more than 70,000 feet; and Shane Carey who has reached the Texas State Line. Also out improving their mileage were Francesca Cooper and Tracey Eastabrook.

  3. A bit of a slow week, but big congratulations to Steve Tobin who has finally crossed the line as first man home to Santa Monica. Also out with a couple of rides was Shane Carey who has now reached Clinton, Oklahoma.

  4. The CMCCC ride to Newent today has seen six riders contribute to their mileage; Rob Stallard has now reached the party town of Las Vegas, Nevada; Tony Griffiths has passed Holbrook, Arizona; Carolyn Griffiths has now reached Oklahoma City and has passed the 30,000 feet of climbing; Tracey Eastabrook has also reached Oklahoma City, passed 800 miles and 30,000 feet of climbing; Tony Ward has reached Miami, Illinois, climbed 25,000 feet and his wife Sharon Ward has also added to her mileage. Also out, but in West Wales was Helen Gilmore who is closing in on the finish.

  5. Slow start to the weekend, a couple of catch-ups for Rob Stallard which has seen him cross the Nevada State Line, and further rides from Tony Griffiths and Helena Hunt. There is a ride from Tony Ward that has just come through so will add that at the next update.

  6. A busy week, nice weather has brought out the 66ers. Top man, Steve Tobin is inching his way towards the finish, just 43 miles to go to hit the beach at Santa Monica; Tony Griffiths has now passed 1,600 miles; David Whittle has topped 1,300 miles and 40,000 feet of climbing; Francesca Cooper has reached Oklahoma City; Carolyn Griffiths has passed 800 miles; and David Vass has reached Miami, Oklahoma and passed 600 miles. Also out were Shane Carey and Neil Gilmore.

  7. More rides sees Diane Potter reach McLean, Texas and Helen Gilmore cross the California State Line and on her way to the finish. Will it be a hat-trick of ladies on the beach or will Steve Tobin beat her to it? Shane Carey has also completed 900 miles. Well done all.

  8. Catch-up after the weekend. Congrats to Janet Vale whose two rides have seen her reach Amarillo, Texas, pass the 1,100 mile barrier and top 60,000 feet climbing; also Tony Ward passing 600 miles. David Vass and Tracey Eastabrook also put in more miles.
