Choir Walkers – Gaer Hill Fort

Sunday, 6th February 2022

Nine walkers made the start for the walk from Friars Walk in Newport, to St Woolos Cathedral, Belle Vue Park, the Gaer Hill Fort, returning to the centre via the Monmouthshire Canal. It was great to have two new walkers with us, Laurence Vale and Alan Fishwick. The day was rounded off with an excellent Sunday lunch at the Potters Bar.

Choir Walkers – Piercefield Mansion

Sunday, 16th January 2022

Ten walkers made their way from Chepstow Castle, along the Welsh Coastal Path to ‘The Warren’ at Bulwark, passing through the housing estates and onto the Racecourse grounds to the 18th Century Mansion, now in a dilapidated state.
