Choir Walkers – SARA Charity Walk – Caldicot Choir

Fourteen walkers made the start at the Choir Hall for the 15 mile walk to Beachley Lifeboat Station, taking the Wales Coastal Path along the River Severn to the pretty village of Mathern. Continuing along the path, and meeting up with another walker at the Severn Bridge, just in time for a lunch stop at Nellie’s Cafe.

Continuing through the Bulwark woods, dropping down into Chepstow at Garden City, before the long drag through Sedbury and eventually arriving at the station.

We were met by two SARA volunteers who put on tea and cakes, and an interesting tour of the facilities. Several people then made their way back to the Boat Inn in Chepstow for some rehydration.
