Choir Riders – Llanwern

Sunday, 16th April 2023

Six riders made the start at the Choir Hall for the latest ride, through Rogiet, Undy, Magor and heading for Llanwern village. With the local pub closed, it was decided to check out Llanwern Golf Club who were most welcoming with a stop for coffee and a Sunday lunch sandwich, before heading back to Caldicot.

Choir Runners – Cwmbran Parkrun

At last, a fine day and with the Rogiet Parkrun closed for track maintenance, a few of us made our way to Cwmbran to walk the parkrun there on their Winter Course.

Birdie Boys – Stinchcombe Hill

A free day at Stinchcombe Hill for four of the Birdie Boys on this hilltop course overlooking the River Severn. Weather was a bit wet and windy, but a good day was had.

Choir Walkers – Deer Walk

Sunday, 26th March 2023

Seven walkers made the walk at Ashton Court in Bristol, that included walking around the estate, watching the Red and Fallow Deer and crossing the Clifton Suspension Bridge into Clifton Village.

Refreshments were had at the Mall in Clifton, and Sunday lunch was enjoyed at the Angel pub in Long Ashton.
