Choir Walkers – Bridge to Bridge

A lovely walk from the Boer’s Head in Aust, for 14 walkers following the coastal path to Severn Beach. A brief stop at Shirley’s Cafe for coffee, before returning to the Boer’s Head for Sunday lunch.

Choir Riders – Magor Loop

Sunday, 28th January 2024

First ride of the year saw four start from the Choir Hall, the route through the Elan Way park, Sandy Lane to Caerwent, Carrow Hill, St Brides to Magor. Cake stop at Mia’s Cafe, before returning via the gravel track to Caldicot.

Choir Walkers – Riverfont

Instead of the regular Cornfield trot, because of the wet weather recently, it was decided to have a walk around the Riverfront on a cold but dry evening.

Choir Walkers – W46 Llanfaches Walk

Sunday, 7th January 2024

The first walk of the year saw thirteen walkers meet at the Coach and Horses in Caerwent, for the 7 mile walk through Trewen, Llanfair Discoed and Llanfaches before returning to the pub for refreshments and Sunday lunch.

It was nice to welcome Micky and Liz Maidment to the group.
